Carlos Lopez-Real / Brigitte Beraha duo
This is a brand new project that we're currently developing together.

We both have a love of electronics and a very open-minded approach to what we can achieve by using them. So far we've been experimenting with live looping (recording ourselves and instantaneously playing it back) sometimes building up thick textures and layers, othertimes exploring a more contrapuntal approach.

We've also been using a program called 'Audiomulch' to process the sounds we record/play in some quite unusual ways. A lot of the compositional process is improvised and we're keen to further explore the improvisatory and compositional potential of both live sound processing and live looping.
